Our Story

CRSJ Rentals began with a simple story: a couple searching for a home near the coast who fell in love with Topsail Island. Curt and Renee traded upstate New York for North Carolina sand and seafood—and soon discovered it was the perfect place to build something new.

With backgrounds in project management, hospitality, and operations, they purchased their first beach property in 2023 and quickly turned it into a rental that consistently outperformed comparable properties. That success became the foundation of CRSJ Rentals.

At CRSJ, we believe an unforgettable guest experience is just the baseline. What sets us apart is how we treat owners: with the same attention, respect, and care we give every guest. Your property isn’t just another listing—it’s an investment. We protect it, grow it, and manage it like it’s our own.

Why We Built CRSJ

When we purchased our property, it was part of a small beachfront community with nearly identical townhomes — same location, same amenities. Different owners chose different management companies. We decided to self-manage.

Over time, one thing became clear: our property was consistently more booked than others right next to us. Same homes. Same location. Different results.

That experience showed us how much the management approach truly impacts performance — and ultimately led us to build CRSJ Rentals.

The CRSJ Management Model

CRSJ Rentals is a full-service vacation rental management company on Topsail Island, offering both full-service management and flexible support for hands-on owners. We handle everything from listings and dynamic pricing to cleaning, maintenance, and guest communication—so owners can enjoy predictable revenue without the stress.

Our data-driven, hands-on approach keeps occupancy high and guests happy, while our lean, transparent 15% fee includes linens and consumables with no hidden costs.

We intentionally take on a select number of properties each year so that each home benefits from focused attention, thoughtful strategy, and systems built to maximize long-term performance.

    Renee is the heartbeat of CRSJ’s operations. With a background in hospitality and administration, she knows how to keep everything running smoothly while making guests feel right at home. She’s detail-obsessed, people-focused, and the reason things “just work” behind the scenes.
