House Rules, Tips, & Tricks
Checkout: Check-out time is 10:00 AM. Late departures without prior approval will incur a fine of $50 for every 30 minutes past 10:00 AM. If the home is left excessively dirty or in poor condition beyond normal use, an additional cleaning fee will apply. Remove all food from the refrigerators and dispose of any perishable items.
Clean up any spills or food to help prevent pests.
Collect all garbage and place in the designated bins.
If you used keys to access the property, the pool, or the storage area, please return them.
Lock all doors before you leave.
Parking: Three vehicles can fit directly under the house. Parking anywhere else is prohibited.
Parties: No parties or illegal activities. Keep noise at a reasonable level. If the police are called due to a nuisance party you will be held liable for any fines that are incurred.
Smoking: No smoking inside the house. This includes vapes, cigarettes, marajuana, cigars… etc. You may smoke on the decks, but dispose of cigarette butts in the trash.
Indoor showers: Avoid using the indoor shower/tubs to wash off sand. Use the outdoor shower or hose instead. Run exhaust fans while showering to control moisture.
Outdoor shower/water: Do not use the neighbors outdoor shower or water. The outdoor shower is not available during winter months.
Air Conditioning: In humid summer months, keep sliding glass doors closed. If you open the doors for a breeze, ensure the AC is turned off.
Pool: Open May–September, 8 AM–10 PM. The pool key hangs in the kitchen by the window. Return the key after use. Wash off sand in the outdoor shower before using the pool.
Towels: Black towels may be used for the beach, outdoor shower, or for drying dogs. Blue towels are for indoor bathing only.
Pets: Clean dogs off before allowing them on the furniture and bedding. Walk dogs on the north side of the property near the streetlight poles, not on the neighboring Ship Watch property to the south. Clean up after your pets.
Beach Chairs/Supplies: You will find a few beach chairs and toys in the storage area. The key is on the hook next to the window in the kitchen. Replace the key before you leave.
Wi-Fi Network: High Tide Haven Wifi | Password: HighTideHaven_23 Do not move the WiFi extender
Trash: Do not throw trash away in the neighbor’s bins. Property maintenance will handle trash cans on collection day.
SWIMMING POOL AND SPA SAFETY ACKNOWLEDGEMENT AND RELEASE
By booking this home, you have acknowledged and agreed to the terms outlined in this Safety Acknowledgement and Release. You also have agreed, on behalf of all guests in your party, to the following:
To supervise all children and minors at all times around the pool or spa.
To ensure all doors, windows, and barriers to the pool or spa are closed and locked when not in use. The sliding glass door child like is located at the top of the door.
To assume all risks related to pool or spa access.
To acknowledge that the pool and spa are maintained by a licensed third-party service provider. While every effort is made to ensure their availability, temporary closures due to routine maintenance, repairs, or safety concerns may occur. By booking, you accept this possibility and agree that no refunds, discounts, or compensation will be issued in such cases.
To indemnify and hold harmless the property owner, co-host, and associated personnel from any liability or claims related to pool or spa use, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.
Pool and Spa Safety Guidelines:
No glass is allowed in or around the pool or spa.
Children must be supervised by an adult at all times in the pool and backyard.
Avoid leaving toys or objects in the pool or spa area that might attract children.
Never let phone calls, doorbells, or chores distract you when children are near the water. Maintain full attention at all times.
Do not rely on swimming lessons or flotation devices to prevent drowning.
Learn CPR—family members and babysitters should be CPR certified.
In Case of an Emergency:
Act immediately—shout for help.
Pull the child or individual out of the water.
Call 911 (or the local emergency number) as soon as possible.
Check for breathing and, if necessary, begin CPR if you are trained.
Occupancy:
This property accommodates a total of 15 guests, with a strict maximum occupancy of 15 people at any time.
